I stayed at the Royal Pacific while attending the ASTA show in Orlando.
Here is a quick review!
pros:
The landscaping: absolutely beautiful!
The Pool: I am very picky about hotel pools. This one is fantastic!
The rooms: beautifully furnished, very tasteful. I wanted to take my inroom coffee maker home with me, but refrained from doing so! The beds were comfy, but the pillows could have used a little work. I took advantage of the free Star service which included a nightly turn down and a free newspaper of my choice. The room came with a blowdryer, iron, and plenty of plug-ins for your laptop and phone. Wireless was $10.00 per day.
The bathroom: the bathroom was huge, and it had regular lighting, rather than florescent lighting which makes you look green, which I appreciated! The free shampoo and such had a pleasant smell, but wasn't so outstanding that is was worth taking home.
The food: There were a lot of great restaurants, but of course everything was super expensive. I paid $10.00 for two scrambled eggs with toast. Ouch!
Other stuff: The water taxis were great!
Cons:
My only complaint was the noise. I requested a pool view room, which actually turned out to be a view of the trees around the pool, which was fine. But there was a pool bar that was open late, and so of course they played the music late as well. The rooms that were further away from the pool were not affected by the noise.
Overall this is an amazing, romantic hotel that would be great for a honeymoon couple, or just a relaxing time in Orlando.
